the calculations that build a players score have been totally rewritten... in previous rounds bases have had all their fleet destroyed and still had huge scores so are well open to attack of other big bases, this should now not be an issue.<br />

Additional the scaling system has been largely scaled down.<br />

For now forget about what should and shouldnt be a covert opp.. such as intell ransack, damage buildings etc etc forget that for now... but the actual formula to work out if a covert opp is a succefull or not and by how much. <br />

Obviously there will be a slight random factor. Currently the covert opp system is dependant on Commandos (advanced biotroops, soon to be renamed commands. Available once a base has got a neutron arc)... I was thinking having rules such as you need ...<br />

X number of commandos per X CiX of terrain...<br />
<br />
and so the number of commandos per X CiX of terrain gives a percentage or success rate ..??<br />

Today I reset everyones intelligence to 0 all round... sorry for any annouyance.. reason for this is because I have rewritten this part of the game.. before there was a a default preset amount you could invest that was the same for everyone no matter what your size..<br />

Now you can only invest a relative amount of ore that relates to your size... it makes the intelligence system a more gradual progression that needs to be constantly maintained.<br />
<br />
Please can you all try it out and as usual, feedback very helpful :)<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Thieves are great and all, but if you are the highest ranking person and can't steal from anyone, they take away your resources...  Sagon has a good point and perhaps we can add it as a feature to the game...  You know how you can let go of your scouts, well, why can't we do the same for the thieves where we can kill them off once we don't need them?  That way, if you have 1000 thieves and you can't steal from people anymore, you are not sitting there paying thieves that you don't need.  Just a suggestion from Sagon and I agree with him.]]></description>
